Elizabeth Leclerc
Elizabeth Wentworth Leclerc
Elizabeth founded Leclerc Group in 2003. She has experience in the areas of non-profit accounting, federal tax law, business management, job costing, federal grant reporting, information systems, data control, quality control, inventory management, credit card processing systems, human resource management, and payroll tax compliance. She is a licensed payroll processor in the State of Maine, and she regularly attends Continuing Education classes and tax seminars to stay current in her field. She is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, with certifications in both Desktop and QBO.
Diane is our Billing and Operations Manager. She has a Liberal Arts degree from Okaloosa-Walton College, as well as a degree in Accounting from Ashworth College. She has extensive experience in all areas of medical billing and electronic insurance claims processing, particularly specializing in the sensitive areas of behavioral and mental health. She oversees our medical billing team, and she also helps our new providers with practice setup and related issues such as credentialing and CAQH. Diane has experience in bookkeeping, banking, employee training, payroll processing, and customer service management. She has attended several classes and seminars on payroll procedures and various tax law issues, and she is fully trained in HIPAA compliance.
Chris has a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Maine School of Law, as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Maine — one in International Affairs in Political Science, and one in French. Chris has varying levels of experience in the public and private sector. He has worked for the State and Federal Government, as well as the Canadian government. He has practiced law, and he has worked at the management level in the banking industry — both as an officer of a national corporation, and as a branch manager of a local credit union here in Topsham. Chris has extensive experience in customer service and employee management, banking procedures, contracts, and data analysis.
Amy is one of our Medical Billing Specialists, and her area of concentration is electronic claims processing for behavioral and mental health. She also works behind the scenes to help keep our background operations running smoothly. She has worked in the banking industry as well as the medical field, and she has been fully trained in HIPAA compliance. She also has the most adorable children on the planet.
Hannah received her MBA, with a concentration in Healthcare Management, from Husson University. Hannah has a strong foundation in accounting, business and financial management, and strategic analysis. She currently works in our accounting department, where she focuses on A/P, A/R, and payroll processing. Her unique educational program has also given her extensive training in healthcare law and ethical issues pertaining to the healthcare industry, and knowledge surrounding the field of mental and behavioral health. This combination makes her a perfect fit for Leclerc Group. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, traveling, photography, and being a dog-mom to our office dog, Sydney.
Heather is our business development and training coordinator. She spends a lot of time working in each department, which has enabled her to develop a comprehensive training program for us. She has been instrumental in getting some of our key systems in place for future business growth and development.
Cathy is the Administrative Assistant for our office, and she is responsible for our electronic records management. She also oversees the coordination of benefits for our medical billing clients, and assists with other medical billing tasks. She has a great deal of experience in medical offices, and she has also been fully trained in HIPAA compliance.
Shilo is the owner and operator of Shilo Doherty Tax Services in Topsham, Maine. She has a degree in Financial Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University, and we are very happy that she has joined our team! Her focus will be Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) for our medical billing clients. She is proficient in QuickBooks, and will also be helping us with bookkeeping, payroll, and other data-entry tasks.
Dana is our office assistant. She helps us with filing and and data-entry, and we keep her busy running errands and delivering paychecks around town. Dana is currently working towards her degree in Human Services. She is a Maine certified CRMA/DSP, and has been fully trained in HIPAA compliance. In her spare time, Dana loves fishing, baseball, music, and playing the drums.
Meta works hard to keep our filing systems running smoothly. She is our guru for all things paper related: document backup and management, rotation/retention policies, document security, and appropriate archival and destruction procedures. We love that she keeps us organized, but we also love all that baking she does for us. It is really difficult to stay away from her homemade cookies!
We have Hannah to thank for our office Aussi, Sydney, who is a morale-booster and certified therapy dog. He is also the most beautiful dog in the world. Stop by to visit Sydney any time (and he wouldn’t mind if you brought treats!)
